The role of the Teacher is to broaden the student’s realm of relationship. This is the path to God, for God is total relationship, relationship without limit. This experience of God cannot be maintained in the physical body for long periods, for it would render you incapable of functioning here in your daily activities. And yet if it can be touched upon, even briefly, it will enrich all of your activities and give you a perspective that is required for successfully living here.
