All that we speak of is the inherent process of discovering what is true by eliminating the false. First, you discover what is true by recognizing the contrast, for this contrast will teach you the source of your happiness and of your sorrow. Once this recognition has been developed, you may actually make a valuable decision, recognizing the source of happiness and the source of sorrow. This does not mean that happiness will become altogether desirable, yet your preferences will move more towards that which gives you a sense of wholeness.
